Each year, the College sets aside a day in the academic calendar to hold the Goucher Symposium, a celebration of student learning and scholarship. This year, we continue our tradition.  Undeterred by the unprecedented circumstances that have kept us at a distance, Goucher will bring together and celebrate the culminating work of our students.

On May 8, 2020, students across all twelve Academic Centers of the College are sharing their talents, their reflections, and their research through displays, performances, and presentations in an online format. The wide range of student work includes the presentation of original research in the sciences and humanities, advocacy for social justice, community-based projects, and performances in the fine and performing arts.

We are proud to share these projects, which capture the breadth and depth of our students’ accomplishments and typify the transformative power of a Goucher education in and beyond the classroom throughout our local community, and around the world.
