2023 Goucher Symposium

Each year, the College sets aside a day in the academic calendar to hold the Goucher Symposium, a celebration of student learning and scholarship.

On May 12, 2023, more than 150 students from across all of the college’s academic centers will sharing their talents, their reflections, and their research through displays, performances, and presentations. The wide range of student work includes the presentation of original research in the sciences and humanities, advocacy for social justice, community-based projects, and creative works in the fine and performing arts.

The majority of presentations will also be live-streamed via Microsoft Teams. We invite all friends and family who are unable to join us in-person to sign-on and join in the celebration of our students’ work.

We are proud to share these projects, which capture the breadth and depth of our students’ accomplishments and typify the transformative power of a Goucher education in and beyond the classroom throughout our local community, and around the world.

Please see below for a detailed schedule complete with Teams links where available. Please note this schedule will continue to be updated up to the day of the event.
