Phone Calls and Voicemail

Goucher’s phone system uses a Voice Over IP (VOIP) call plan that works inside of Microsoft Teams. Below are written guides and short videos related to managing voicemails and using the Calls area of Teams for making and managing phone calls.

Calls and Voicemail Job Aids

Voicemail Settings

Voicemail messages are automatically sent to users via email as an audio file attachment. Users can also access their messages and voicemail settings by calling into their voicemail account. This is how you would record a personal phone greeting, change your PIN, and update other settings.

Quick Steps:

        • To check your own voicemail:
          Dial 555 from any Goucher desk phone or from Calls in Teams. Enter your PIN and follow the prompts.

        • To check another voicemail account you manage:
          Dial 500 from any Goucher desk phone or from Calls in Teams. Enter the phone extension for that account, then enter the PIN.
