Sarah Pinsker Nominated for two Nebula Awards

Today, the nominations for the 55th Annual Nebula Awards were announced with Sarah Pinsker, the Kratz Center’s current Spring Writer in Residence receiving two nominations. Ms. Pinsker is a finalist for the Nebula’s Best Novel Award for A Song for a New Day and also for Best Novelette for The Blur in the Corner of Your Eye. She has been nominated for Nebula Awards seven times before and won Best Novelette in 2015 for Our Lady of the Open Road. Ms. Pinsker, Goucher class of 1999, returned to campus this January to serve as the Kratz Spring Writer in Residence.  She will give a reading on March 10th at 8:00PM in Buchner Hall.  The event is free and open to the public.  The Nebula Awards winners will be announced on May 30th.
