Under a National Endowment for the Humanities grant, Goucher College created the Collaborative Humanities Laboratory to enhance the study of visual, material, and historical culture among the Goucher Community.

Technological advancement has been a cornerstone of the 21st century. With the rise of technology and democratization in internet access, Goucher hopes to combines technology with liberal arts to enhance the academic journey of the community. The Collaborative Humanities Laboratory hopes to engage our community in the study of objects as well as make use of technology to empower our students in their creative and intellectual pursuit. The Lab will provide both a physical and virtual place for students to present their projects and works in various media.
