When I started meditating in 10th grade, I quickly noticed that I had substantially less chatter in my thoughts and preoccupation with insignificant things in my life. Additionally, I noticed a rise in my confidence level, especially socially. More than anything, it just feels good to sit down, let everything in the outside world go for a little while, process my life, and just relax. I feel like a more confident, accepting, and aware person as a meditator than I was as a non-meditator.
