Goucher Assistant Professor of English Bill U’Ren’s newest screenplay, Twelve Hundred Ninety Six Hits, has won a spot in the Independent Filmmakers Project’s No Borders Competition, which matches financiers with new film projects by established, independent producers. The character-driven comedy is about a 17-year-old boy whose life changes the day he accidentally steals a sheet of acid.
