Welcome to the Writing Center of Goucher College!

This website provides information on how to contact the Writing Center and how to schedule appointments, in addition to details about our current staff, useful resources, and upcoming events.

We are here to help students of all levels with every step of the composition process, and we expect writers to come to the Writing Center with the intention and willingness to engage in a conversation about their writing or papers.  Therefore, we don’t simply proofread your papers or write for you. Come to us if you want to learn how to be a better writer or if you are struggling with a particular step in the process of writing a paper. Our tutors are writers themselves, and are trained in teaching writing, so they can give you tips, instructions, and guidance. We welcome writing from any field or subject matter.
