Theresa Marie Van Orman, a student in Goucher’s Master of Arts in Cultural Sustainability Program, was one of 11 organizations, curators, scholars, and graduate students awarded a Center for Craft, Creativity & Design 2013 Craft Research Fund grant. She will use the funding to support her master’s thesis research investigating the back-to-the-land movement and its role in preserving and perpetuating the heritage of craft and music traditions in Stone County, Arkansas.
