Jeff Kunerth, a 2010 graduate of Goucher’s MFA in creative nonfiction program, has been named a finalist for a 2013 Pulitzer Prize. Kunerth and colleagues at the Orlando Sentinel were finalists for the local reporting category. They received the honor for their coverage of hazing rituals by the Florida A&M University marching band that killed a drum major and led to the resignation of the band leader and the university president.
