Leonard Forsman, a graduate of Goucher’s Historic Preservation M.A. program, was recently appointed by President Barack Obama to the federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. The council is an independent federal agency that promotes “the preservation, enhancement, and productive use of our nation’s historic resources,” and advises the President and Congress on national historic preservation policy.
