Research and development efforts have been<br \/>\nfruitful in breeding rice varieties with specific traits that enable them to withstand<br \/>\nnature\u2019s powerful forces. One such rice variety goes by the name Swarna-Sub 1 and can<br \/>\nwithstand flooding for up to 15 days.
