I would post up at a high top on the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">third<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\"> or <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">fourth<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\"> floor<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\"> and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">I<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">\u2019<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">d<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\"> see everyone come in <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun ContextualSpellingAndGrammarErrorV2Themed SCXW7399654 BCX0\">and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">out of the building or walk down the steps to Alice<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">\u2019<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">s. The impromptu laughs, conversations<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">and genuine friendships that were formed at that spot are ones that I will never forget<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW7399654 BCX0\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #004c97\"><em><strong>How do you stay connected to Goucher and fellow Gophers?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\">Well,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\"> I am married to another Gopher, Emily <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW70280989 BCX0\">Waife<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\"> Kaufman <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\">\u2019<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\">16. So Goucher comes up in conversation extremely <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\">frequently<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\">. Some of my best friends and groomsmen are also fellow Gophers. I continue to be one of Goucher<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\">\u2019<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70280989 BCX0\">s biggest cheerleaders and supporters even after graduation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #004c97\"><strong><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW255010435 BCX0\">How does your Goucher experience <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW255010435 BCX0\">impact<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW255010435 BCX0\"> your work?<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW115106768 BCX0\">I am the director of sales at <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW115106768 BCX0\">Packback<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW115106768 BCX0\">, an education technology company whose purpose is to help every student develop their unique voice and the writing skills to express it. We work with college professors across the country to help students think critically about material and coach them on their writing skills. If that purpose <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW115106768 BCX0\">doesn\u2019t<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW115106768 BCX0\"> SCREAM Goucher College, then I am not sure what does.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #004c97\"><strong><span class=\"TextRun SCXW135472345 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW135472345 BCX0\">How is this work relevant right now?<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span class=\"EOP SCXW135472345 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192555397 BCX0\">With the rise of <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192555397 BCX0\">ChatGPT<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192555397 BCX0\">, professors and institutions are scrambling with how to effectively deal with the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192555397 BCX0\">new technology<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192555397 BCX0\">. Do they fight it? Do they embrace it and teach with it? I see so many people trying to fight this change in how we interact with AI.
