Goucher’s Creative Nonfiction Program Celebrates 20 Years<\/h2>\n

In 1997, Goucher welcomed the first ever cohort of writers to enroll in the M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction Program<\/a>. Twenty years later, Goucher is still one of the few graduate creative writing programs in the country to focus solely on nonfiction. In the two decades since the program started, the genre has grown in popularity and the boundaries of what nonfiction can include continues to expand. Goucher’s low-residency\u00a0program continues to attract top writers from around the country interested in expanding their skills. In honor of the M.F.A.\u2019s anniversary, we take a look at the careers and lives of some of the very different writers who have graduated from the program.<\/p>\n
