Guthrie, Jr. Short Fiction Award, and the C. Glenn Cambor Award.<\/p>\n<p>His film adaptation work began in 1988 with <span class=\"s3\">Box 100<\/span> for Columbia Pictures.\u00a0His screenplay,<span class=\"s3\"> 1296 Hits<\/span> (co-written with Mark Poirier), earned an IFP No Borders Prize and is being produced by Diana Ossana (<span class=\"s3\">Brokeback Mountain<\/span>) and Jeanne Yang of Anonymous Content.
