To sign into a different account, you will need to&#8230;<br \/>\n&#8211; Click your profile icon and choose &#8220;Sign Out&#8221;, then CLOSE YOUR BROWSER<br \/>\n&#8211; Open and sign-out of the Zoom software installed on your Mac or Windows computer, then CLOSE THIS SOFTWARE<br \/>\n&#8211; Restart your browser and start step one over.<\/em><\/em>*You might be prompted to &#8220;switch accounts&#8221; if you previously had a personal Zoom account registered under your Goucher email address. This is correct. Please follow all prompts and instructions for switching your account over to Goucher&#8217;s hosted site.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your Goucher <strong>username@goucher.edu<\/strong> (<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">NOT email<\/span>) and password to continue. A basic account will be created for you automatically.<em style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a name=\"Desktop\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sign In From Desktop Software<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Once your account is created (see above), you will often be prompted to &#8220;Open Zoom Meetings&#8221; to join or run meetings using the Zoom desktop software. Should you need to sign-in from the software screen, click the &#8220;<strong>Sign In with SSO<\/strong>&#8221; button, and then type <em><strong>goucher<\/strong> <\/em>as the company domain to proceed.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/SignIn-SSO-Zoom-Desktop.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2873\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/SignIn-SSO-Zoom-Desktop-300x141.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"141\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/SignIn-SSO-Zoom-Desktop-300x141.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/SignIn-SSO-Zoom-Desktop-624x293.png 624w, https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/SignIn-SSO-Zoom-Desktop.png 670w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a name=\"Join\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Join A Test Meeting<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You can <a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/115002262083-Joining-a-test-meeting\">join a test Zoom meeting<\/a> to familiarize yourself with Zoom controls and test your microphone\/speakers before joining a Zoom meeting. You can also test your <a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/201362313-How-Do-I-Test-My-Video-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">video<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/201362283-How-Do-I-Join-or-Test-My-Computer-Audio-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">audio<\/a> while in a Zoom meeting. Note that users in a Zoom test meeting are added as participants, not hosts, so host features such as sharing and recording are not available for testing.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a name=\"Add-ins\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong><strong>Use Zoom Outlook Plug-In<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Outlook Plug-in for Zoom is available to add to your Outlook calendar for synchronized meeting scheduling. The plug-in is available to download and install on the <a style=\"font-size: 1rem\" href=\"http:\/\/goucher.zoom.us\">Goucher Zoom<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> site <\/span>meetings screen. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">When prompted to Sign In, click the &#8220;Sign in with SSO&#8221; button underneath the password fields, and then type <em><strong>goucher<\/strong> <\/em>as the company domain to proceed.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/Zoom-Outlook-Plugin-SignIn.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2874\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/Zoom-Outlook-Plugin-SignIn-207x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"207\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/Zoom-Outlook-Plugin-SignIn-207x300.jpg 207w, https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/Zoom-Outlook-Plugin-SignIn.jpg 306w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 207px) 100vw, 207px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a name=\"captions\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Add Live Transcriptions to Your Meeting as a Host<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Zoom hosts can enable a side panel in their meetings that automatically transcribes spoken words to text for participants to follow (much like closed captioning).\u00a0 Here&#8217;s how&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><b>IN-MEETING FOR HOSTS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>When hosting a meeting, click the LIVE TRANSCRIPT button on the host toolbar (1), and then select ENABLE AUTO-TRANSCRIPTION from the pop-up window (2). If your window is too small to display the entire host toolbar, you will need to click the MORE (3) button first.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/live_transcript.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3100\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/live_transcript-300x289.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"289\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/live_transcript-300x289.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.goucher.edu\/knowledgebase\/files\/2020\/04\/live_transcript.png 551w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>IN-MEETING FOR PARTICIPANTS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>When enabled by the host, you will see a notification above\u00a0<strong>Closed Caption\/Live Transcript<\/strong> in the meeting controls, informing you that one of these services is available.\u00a0If live transcription is available, click\u00a0<strong>Live Transcript<\/strong>, and then select\u00a0<strong>Show Subtitle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>VIEWING IN CLOUD RECORDINGS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Audio transcription is turned on for cloud recordings by default*. When recordings are played, the transcribed text appears on the right-hand side of the video.
