Commonly used or weak passwords will not be accepted when attempting to reset your password.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How often do I need to reset my password?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Faculty\/Staff are required to reset their password every 180 days, or every six months. Students are not required to reset their password but should as often as possible as part of a good Internet security protocol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I have a new phone number or authenticator app. How do I update my information?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In order to update your MFA, you can sign into your Office 365 portal, go to your <strong>Profile<\/strong> in the top right, then click on <strong>View Account<\/strong>. If you need to unlock your account without resetting the password, please contact the Helpdesk for assistance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I have a Gmail account from Goucher, can I still use Microsoft 365 to reset your password?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes, you can. As long as you are enrolled in Multi-factor authentication through your Office365 account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I receive an error when I try to reset my password? What should I do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most errors should explain the problem. Please try again making sure that you are entering the correct information.
