Madison Smartt Bell’s book review “Shaken and Stirred: Dany Laferrière’s memoir of the Haitian earthquake” is now on Slate.com. Bell, professor of English and chair for distinguished achievement at Goucher, examines Laferrière’s The World is Moving Around Me, which focuses on his experiences in and after the devastating 2010 earthquake.
