Assistant Professor of Theatre Alvin Eng gave a reading and discussion of his memoir-in-progress, OUR LAUNDRY, OUR TOWN: CHINA/USA, at Baltimore Museum of Art’s “Asian Art Celebration” on Sunday, June 28. The memoir traces his days of growing up in a Chinese Hand Laundry in Flushing, Queens, NYC, to conducting a Fulbright theatre residency at City University of Hong Kong.
