The conference, which showcases papers presented by undergraduates from Goucher as well as from other colleges and universities, is entirely organized by students. Over the past 10 years the conference has featured keynote presentations from some of the most influential philosophers in the country. This year’s keynote, titled “Revolutionary Declarations: The Status of Human Rights,” was delivered by Professor Peg Birmingham of DePaul University.
