HaDag Nahash Concert: “Time To Wake Up” Tour

Goucher Hillel will host HaDag Nahash, a popular Israeli hip hop/funk band, Monday, April 27, at 7 p.m. in Kraushaar Auditorium.

The community concert is part of the band’s “Time to Wake Up” tour.  Doors open at 6 p.m. College students at area colleges may attend for free, and community members may buy tickets for $10 at the door or $5 through Goucher’s website at tickets.goucher.edu.

Hadag Nahash, meaning Snake Fish in Hebrew, is one of the most successful acts in Israeli popular music today. Though usually described as hip-hop, Hadag Nahash music also incorporates funk, jazz, electro, rock, and even Middle Eastern sounds.

The group has sold out concerts throughout North America and Europe. They have also collaborated with major international artists, such as Arrested Development, the Black Eyed Peas, Cypress Hill, Matisyahu, and Saian Supa Kru of France.
