Tori Russell ’16, Goucher’s Office of Communications intern, set out to find and interview students with interesting and fun plans for this summer.
Janice Byth ’16 is going to hike Machu Picchu with a friend. Chad Resnik ’17 will be heading up to Montreal to explore. Two students will be going abroad via Goucher study abroad programs – Muhammed Abdulkarimu ’15 is headed to South Africa, and Jesse Krempel ’14 will be going to Berlin. Raven Nee ’16 is going to be a counselor at a survival program. Emily Hewlings ’16 and Craig Richie ’14 will be using fellowships they won from Goucher’s Kratz Center for Creative Writing to continue to improve their craft. Hazel Pineda ’16 and Andrea Sosa ’16 will both be interning – Pineda at a communications company in Austin, Texas, and Sosa at the Roosevelt Institute Summer Academy in Washington, DC.
