President Ungar to Discuss the Future of Post-Secondary Education on 3/14

Goucher College President Sanford J. Ungar will join Charlie Kolb, president of the French-American Foundation, to discuss the future of post-secondary education on the Internet radio program Global Reach on Thursday, March 14, 2-3 p.m. EST.

Questions slated to be covered include: Is it the role of universities to prepare students to be engaged citizens of a democracy? Do we need to rethink the business model of American post-secondary education? Is the business model for American post-secondary education broken? Is a liberal arts education outdated? Is the U.S. education system falling behind both in terms of completion and quality? If innovation is the key to robust economic growth, what education models can best encourage innovative graduates?

“Global Reach” is a live Internet talk radio show about key issues about the international marketplace that airs live on Thursdays at 2 p.m. E.S.T. on the VoiceAmerica Business Channel.
