New Art Exhibit: From My Mind

In From My Mind, a new art exhibit at Goucher College, Baltimore-area artist Hal Stebbing shows large-scale acrylic and pencil landscapes and portraits.

The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, runs in the Lenrow Gallery on the fourth floor of Goucher’s Athenaeum from Tuesday, February 26, to mid-March. An artist’s reception will be held Tuesday, February 26, 7-9 p.m. in the Pinkard Community Service Center also on the fourth floor of the Athenaeum. Stebbing is a self-taught painter who recently became a participating artist at Make Studio, which provides visual arts programming to adults with disabilities. At the Baltimore-based studio, Stebbing has the opportunity to explore new techniques and gain exposure for his work.

This exhibit is sponsored by Goucher College’s Office of Community-Based Learning, Make Studio, and Gallagher Services, an offshoot of Catholic Charities of Baltimore that provides an array of services, care, training, and therapy for adults with intellectual disabilities.
