Quite a late entry, but I highly value Kent's dedication to his tasks. It still inspires me to this day, and I doubt it will be ejected from my memory. His emphasis on music and arts are that of which are rare in higher education, and I'm sure he and his crewmates will continue to improve his college.

President Devereaux, I wish you all the very best as the 12th president of this great college. I value the time I spent at Goucher, and it has been particularly exciting to reconnect with the college these last few years and learn more about its long history in China (a country I have called home for the past 30 years). I am sure that Goucher will have a great future under your leadership.

Kent Devereaux is one of those few creative individuals who has utilized his talents for the betterment of society. Goucher College is lucky to have someone who is more interested in making sure every student reaches his or her potential than seeing his name on the President’s door. With his amenable demeanor, he will listen attentively to voiced concerns from the educational community, and with his masterful management skills find a way to meet the challenge. I, as a friend from several decades past, am so incredibly proud of who he has become, all he has accomplished, and what he will achieve in the future.

Congratulations Kent-Don and I look forward to the Inauguration! I so appreciate your leadership during this difficult time that we have had. I love being at Edenwald and keeping an eye on Goucher's woods (and deer). I also look forward to my 60th reunion next year. Thank you for all you have done!!!
