Expanding Possibilities for Students
My favorite class so far has been Public Health 101 because it opened my eyes to the many factors that influence community health. I enjoyed how the course combined science, policy, and social justice, and it made me even more passionate about pursuing a career in public health. The discussions were meaningful, and the topics felt directly connected to real-world issues.

Lewent ’70 Science Center, enhanced sustainability initiatives, and new on campus partnerships, generosity is creating spaces of inspiration and opportunity for generations of Goucher students to come.
Support our projectsThe cutting-edge Lewent Science Center will be a 44,000-square-foot annex to the Hoffberger Science building and will offer modern labs and learning spaces designed to power the future of science and propel generations of students to success. The $50 million project is slated to open in Fall 2027.

Funding a Greener Future for Goucher
Goucher College has reinforced its commitment to addressing climate change and supporting environmental sustainability through a new clean energy master plan, forest management, and green campus initiatives.

Partnership Leading to Opportunities
The campus plan began taking shape this year as construction begins with the new headquarters of longstanding Baltimore community member and national industry leader Whiting-Turner Contracting Company (est. 1909), with completion scheduled in late 2028.
This exciting partnership will be a hub for introducing young people to career opportunities in today’s high-tech and innovative design and construction industries.
We thank Whiting-Turner for their support of student engagement programming during this construction period.
Future success starts at Goucher
Preparing students for success beyond Goucher includes providing the option to learn through experience. Thanks to philanthropic support and opportunities offered by our alumnae/i network, students can participate in internships and special projects that strengthen their skills, expand their networks, and position them for future career success.

Support for students and recent graduates is often found within the community and starts with our network of alumnae and alumni. The Alumnae & Alumni of Goucher College (AAGC) engages with seniors and recent graduates to help them succeed in their next steps.
