Global Education
Part of the college’s mission is to cultivate global changemakers. Collaborating with Goucher stakeholders, the program provides students with a global perspective that prepares them to navigate societal issues that transcend geography and nationalities. 100% of Goucher students study abroad with assistance from this program.
Goucher Prison Education Partnership
In its 12th year, the Goucher Prison Education Partnership (GPEP) continues to expand its reach and impact. Last year, five GPEP students earned their Goucher bachelor’s, and five former GPEP students are now enrolled on campus, including a master’s candidate. There are also two children of former GPEP students enrolled at Goucher. Philanthropic gifts fund 80% of GPEP’s budget.
Micro-Internships Program
This growing program saw more than 98 hosts and student participants—the latter receiving payments from the philanthropy-fueled Goucher Internship Fellowship Fund and other internship funds.
$1.2 million
