Hi I’m Beth and I’m thrilled to be Goucher Hillel’s new Global Jewish Life and Engagement Coordinator! I build student engagement while partnering with students to create innovative programming around Israel the Diaspora, and our position as Jews in a global landscape. My biggest priority is making sure that Hillel is providing the supportive community infrastructure that students need to thrive.
I’m originally from Washington State but I’ve been living the past two years in Hamilton, Ontario Canada.
My hobbies mainly include gardening, brewing kombucha, and playing fetch with my cat!
My go to Shabbat dinner item is keftes garaz which is a Syrian meatball.
This year I’m most excited for kosher cooking nights and diving deep into Jewish culinary history!
