Keynote speaker Lani Guinier is the Bennet Boskey Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. An advocate for honest and public conversation on issues of democracy, race, and gender, she is considered a trailblazer in the area of civil rights in higher education. Her work focuses on diversification of college admissions through new approaches to affirmative action, as addressed in her 2015 book, The Tyranny of the Meritocracy: Democratizing Higher Education in America.
