In the fall of 2020, Goucher College became a founding member of the Liberal Arts Colleges Racial Equity Leadership Alliance (LACRELA), a partnership of 72 colleges nationwide. The goal of LACRELA, which is coordinated by the University of South California (USC) Race and Equity Center, is to foster greater racial equity on our campus through assessment, education, and strategic DEI activities.

The Liberal Arts College Racial Equity Leadership Alliance brings together some of the most highly respected liberal arts colleges in America to collaborate on developing and achieving equity goals and fostering sustainable cultures of inclusion on their campuses.
