The Tempest

As a bounteous, creative and vibrant group of artists, we have designed our concept for The Tempest with our native city in mind.

Baltimore was used as the foundation upon which this piece has been developed. What was once our contemporary Baltimore city has now been consumed by nature and becomes, what feels and looks like, an island devoid of human existence.

However, there has been life on this island and we researched many Native American rituals, customs and histories in order to find a rich connectedness with the natural and spiritual world. With this in mind we have created a balance between each element and by involving all of our senses, created an offering to the theatrical gods.

Every element on earth is connected in some way or another and we hope that you will see the ties we made between ourselves, as performers, artists, creators and beings of the earth.
