Hi! Welcome to our blog! Over the next year, we’ll be posting anecdotes, tips, and other stuff about ways we survived our freshman year at Goucher College. Mostly anecdotes, though. We like telling goofy stories. Here’s a little bit about us, in case you were wondering.
Eli is a rising sophomore who looks like Jesus but is actually Jewish. He was recently elected captain of the Goucher Pyrate Alliance. He’s on orientation committee, so if you’re coming in the fall, you’ll be seeing a lot of him. His hobbies include board games, playing guitar, procrastinating and not shaving. He is most likely majoring in Peace Studies and minoring in Cognitive Studies, but of course, that’s subject to change.
Roz is also a rising sophomore and member of the Pyrate club and band — she plays drums and violin and also enjoys singing at the top of her lungs. She is a theater and English major, and although she wants to be Kira Nerys when she grows up, she will probably settle for being an actor. Among her other activities are music composition, writing scifi and fantasy stories, running a Star Trek role-play site, spending way too much time on AIM, and not sleeping enough.
Roz and Eli met during their first few days at Goucher when Eli started having a major crush on Roz’s roommate. Now, Eli has been dating said roommate since the end of September, and Roz puts up with their adorable cuddliness far more than she should have to.
Hope you enjoy reading about our experiences! Welcome to Goucher!
