Debra Engle, a 2004 graduate of Goucher’s MFA in creative nonfiction program, has a new book coming out this fall. The Only Little Prayer You Need will be published by Hampton Road and will feature a foreword written by the Dalai Lama. She is also working on a documentary in association with Iowa Public Television. The hour-long feature is called Hunger in the Heartland.
