April Oettinger, assistant professor of art and chair of the Art and Art History Department, was awarded a fellowship from the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation for scholarship on Venice and the Veneto. The grant will fund her summer residence in Venice, where she will continue her research on the role of Lorenzo Lotto, other contemporaries of Titian, and the emergence of the “contemplative” landscape in 16th-century Venetian painting.
