Kent Devereaux is the 12th President of Goucher College. Prior to moving to Maryland to assume the presidency of Goucher in July 2019, Kent served as President of the New Hampshire Institute of Art (NHIA), a private, non-profit college of arts and design located in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Given the recent rise in coronavirus cases due to the delta variant, Goucher College required that Inauguration attendees and volunteers:

• wear face masks whenever indoors on campus
• be fully vaccinated (two doses of Moderna or Pfizer or one dose of Johnson & Johnson and two weeks past the last dose).

Anyone who has had a known exposure within the last 14 days, and is not fully vaccinated, or is experiencing symptoms, will not be allowed on campus.
