On The Case: An Educational Pilot by Brett Donnelly (2013)

Brett Donnelly(2013), an artist and performer from Long Island, has begun a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for On The Case. On The Case is a show that utilizes animation, puppetry, and visual effects to teach audiences about the historical and scientific significance of everyday things. Viewers will follow the exploits of Skid Roach, a fictional bug detective, as he investigates various topics. For the pilot, the show topic will be “chocolate”, and interesting facts about the popular foodstuff will be discussed in a humorous and engaging way.

The fund-raising campaign is currently being conducted with crowdfunding site Indiegogo, and is centered on producing the show’s pilot. Visit the official campaign page.

The On The Case campaign officially ends on November 21st, 2013, and the pilot is slated for completion in January, 2014.
