On Sunday, March 2nd, at 7 p.m. Wu Man will perform her critically acclaimed multimedia concert for Goucher College’s 47th Annual Henry and Ruth Blaustein Rosenberg Lecture-Performance. Wu Man is recognized as being an influential figure in introducing the Western hemisphere to the Chinese stringed instrument called the Pipa. She’s performed at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center in 2005, and followed that performance with another at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall, both to high accolades. Tickets are free to Goucher students, but they are going fast. So if you want to catch this world renowned musician, head over to the box office in Rosenberg Gallery, call them up at x6333, or email them at boxoffice@goucher.edu and reserve your tickets.
