Baltimore native performance poetry group 5th L is set to headline Goucher’s first Baltimore Speakers Series. The series is a new program brought about through the collaborative efforts of the Student Government and college administration. 5th L, which is made up of Native Son and The Dri Fish, are an action packed spoken word experience that delivers spoken word performances with the skilled theatrics of a Broadway show and the high energy a rap artist exerts on stage. They are performing at Goucher on Wednesday, October 17th, at 8 p.m. in Haebler Memorial Chapel.
