hear ye, hear ye, meat on sticks abound at the renaissance festival

Break out the meade and peasant bread, the Maryland Renaissance Festival is back for another fun filled season of lancing, jousting, and general medievalry. The festival, located in Anne Arundel County, is open every weekend until October 21st from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., rain or shine. This weekend, September 22-23, there is a Pirate costume contest, and on the 23rd, members of Medieval Times will visit the festival and show off their skills at 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Click here to visit the festival’s website for a complete list of special events, directions, and any other information you could want on the festival.
