THE BUBBLE

Goucher College has been invited to participate in the first, hopefully annual, Sports Festival Day at the Dallas F. Nicholas Elementary School.  The Sports Day Festival is a community-supported, student-centered, sporting event, in which the entire school population (Pre-K through 5^th) is randomly divided into “houses” to compete against one another in various athletic events.   This event has been the desired at Dallas F. Nicholas for some time, but a lack of funding, resources, and manpower has prevented anything like this for some time.  But because of the generous support of parents, faculty, staff, and neighboring businesses, the school has put together what is set to be a very exciting day.  The 1^st Annual Dallas F. Nicholas Sports Day Festival is set for Wednesday May 16th, 2007, from 9am-2pm.  For further information, or to RSVP, please contact Laura Camarata.
