Filipino slam poet, activist, and stand-up comic Regie Cabico will perform at Goucher today (Wednesday, April 25th) at 6 p.m. in Pearlstone as part of the college’s Asian American/Pacific Islander History Month celebration. Regie has performed on such venues as HBO’s “Def Poetry Jam,” PBS’ “In the Life,” and MTV’s “Free Your Mind” spoken word tour. Regie’s performance here at Goucher was made possible through the support of the Office of Community Living and Multicultural Affairs, BGLAD, the Educational Opportunity Program, and Louts. This event is free and open to the public.
