summer study abroad opportunity in photography

Maryland Institute College of Art is seeking applicants for its summer study abroad program in Photography. The program takes place from July 1 - July 22. Students of ANY PHOTOGRAPHIC LEVEL are encouraged to apply, as there will be many opportunities for both group and individual instruction. Students will have access to black and white, color and digital facilities while working on a sophisticated photographic series (according to level) in Paris.
The program accommodations include a 3 star hotel in the Latin Quarter of Paris. The curriculum generally consists of daily instruction in the darkroom/classroom, critiques of ongoing projects, photographic excursions, weekly visits to museums and art galleries, visits with and presentations by Parisan photographic artists and galleries, tours of relevant destinations such as Giverny (Monet’s home and gardens) and time to become acquainted with a bustling epicenter of art and culture.
