From February 11th to May 13th Baltimore will be privileged to be the only East Coast city to host Pissraro: Creating the Impressionist Landscape.  The exhibition, which will be held in the Baltimore Museum of Art, will explore the “luminous landscapes of Camille Pissarro.”  As you meander through the forty five paintings encompassing the collection, you will be able to witness his transformation from a traditional landscape painter to one of the quintessential impressionist painters of the 19th century.  His work is truly masterful, and this is an exhibit that is not to be missed.  Student tickets are only $10, and an audio guide is included in the ticket price.  For more details, and to see the exhibition’s home page, click here.
