SGA and the Student Life Division are once again hosting the annual Student Leadership Awards Recognition Dinner on May 1st, 2007 (May Day!), but they need student nominations. So if you know a student who you think deserves a Student Leadership Award, nominate them! Not sure what to nominate them for? Check the list of awards below to see the different awards and their qualifications. Anyone in the Goucher community can nominate a student, so don’t hesitate because you think you can’t. Nomination letters should be brought to Amanda Emery in the Student Activities office and are due by February 23rd* at 5 p.m. Students who are nominated will be contacted with the application for an award and the criteria used in the decision making process.
*Please note: Because of the new Goucher Leadership Scholars pilot program, Senior Award nominations are due by February 19th at 5 p.m. Seniors nominated for awards will be given the opportunity to participate in a Senior Capstone experience, which is why the earlier deadline is needed.
