Astronomy in Granada
Paired with SP 130G
A regularly scheduled course in the spring semester at Goucher in combination with a three-week intensive course in Spain during the month of May. This course encourages interdisciplinary study of the sciences and Spanish in a city known for its multiethnic environment and astronomical observations, such as IRAM (www.iram.es). Credits will be distributed as follows: three credits in spring (1.5 for SP 130G and 1.5 for AST 110); five credits in the summer (2.5 for SP 130G and 2.5 for AST 110).
Prerequisites: Spanish 120.
Spring and summer. Offered 2008-09 and alternate years.
