After a summer of trying to find winter clothing my Mom and I, finally, boarded the plane in Miami. This flight was my first one way ticket: My Mom would leave and Baltimore would be, my new “home.” I was excited but– why couldn’t I stop feeling so nervous?

My clothing, favorite books, art supplies, and pillows were all inside of compressed storage bags. Everything else I would need for the year would be bought within the next few days.

[If you buy compressing storage bags try and find the bags that you don't need a vacuum for. Trying to find a vacuum at college for end of the year packing is like a vegetarian trying to find a meal at a steak house. Okay, that was a bad joke.]

I walked off the plane, picked up my two HUGE suitcases and walked outside. Baltimore was a lot hotter than Miami. The nervous feeling was gone.
